I'm a 2nd PhD student in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, USA and currently on leave of absence from Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
I'm working on the development of handheld micromanipulators (Micron) in the Surgical Mechantronics Lab.
My primary research interest lies in developing robotic technologies for biomedical applications.
Research
I'm currently working on the development of handheld micromanipulators for vitreoretinal surgery. I also researched implantable micromanipulators for behaving mice and locomotive capsule endoscopes for GI tracts at KIST.
