I recently completed my Ph.D. in Robotics at The Robotics Institute in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. I was advised by Martial Hebert. I am now a Computer Vision Scientist with Tandent Vision Science.

Before attending graduate school at CMU, I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. There, I was advised by Allen Tannenbaum.

My wife, Sarah, also recently completed her Masters degree in Chemistry at Duquesne University. In her free time, Sarah runs marathons, is a mentor with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training, and volunteers at Animal Friends.

We both enjoy traveling, hiking, cooking, and trying to understand (and appease) our neurotic cats, Zoe and Linus. I also like to dabble in photography, play tennis, play guitar, SCUBA dive, and ski out west as much as time and money will allow.
