Hi! I'm Sandeep Subramanian, a final year masters student and research assistant in the Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.

A few of my colleagues and I at CMU have built a language learning application called Swych that teaches foreign languages using the idea of code-switching. Some phrases within your favorite book are replaced by their translations in a foregin language you are interested in learning. Inferring the meaning of the translation becomes easier with context.

At present, my research is focused on Biomedical Informatics and Deep Learning for NLP. I am advised by Dr. Madhavi Ganapathiraju.
