Computer Vision and Graphics Research:

For my Ph.D, I developed algorithms to automatically compute a digital model of a dynamically changing physical event, such as a baseball swing or a basketball throw, by imaging it from a number of different video cameras. A complete 4D space-time geometric model (such as seen on the left) allows us to re-render a scene from arbitrary positions and times. My advisor was Prof. Takeo Kanade

Virtualized Reality System:

My work is part of the Virtualized Reality lab at Carnegie Mellon. We develop advanced research techniques to automatically create virtual models of real actions. For this purpose, we have built a multi-camera 3D Room to capture and digitize image sequences from various positions. Click on the image to go to the lab homepage.
