“Improving Reliable Transport and Handoff Performance in Cellular Wireless Networks” by H. Balakrishnan, S. Seshan, and R.H. Katz. Wireless Networks, vol. 1, no. 4, Dec. 1995. This is an extended and much-revised journal version of the Mobicom 1995 paper. Significant changes include a better description of the protocol and sections on how the Daedalus low-latency multicast-based handoff protocol and the snoop protocol are integrated together.
