15-441 Project 1 -- Checkpoint 1

Checkpoint 1 is all points, or nothing. To receive the points for the checkpoint, you must complete the following 3 requirements:

1. Create an sircd.c which builds, it need not do anything currently, a "hello world" would be just fine.
2. Create a Makefile which builds sircd.c, creating the executable sircd.
3. Make a 'tags/checkpoint1' branch which is a snapshot of your trunk with the working Makefile and sircd file checked in.

Once you believe you have completed these three requirements, use the checkpoint1 script which is the same exact script we will run to grade you. If it tells you that you pass, you will receive full points. If it tells you that you do not pass, you will receive nothing. You can run it as many times as you want. You have no excuse for not getting full credit!
