Great Ideas: AAAI-97 Workshop on On-Line Search
At the workshop, there was a "Wall of Great Ideas" that allowed the
workshop participants to post research ideas. Here are the results:
- Wouldn't it be great if we designed memory restricted real-time
algorithms?
- Empirical robotics researchers are increasingly using robot
navigation algorithms that use probabilities to explicitly represent
actuator and sensor uncertainty. Wouldn't it be great if researchers
interested in formal results about robot exploration used
probabilistic frameworks as well?
