I recently graduated with my masters in Data Mining from Center for Automated Learning and Discovery
at Carnegie Mellon University.
I am now working as a Data Mining Specialist at PricewaterhouseCoopers at San Jose, California.
During my master's I worked with Christos Faloutsos on applications of fractal dimension in data mining tasks such as dimensionality reduction and vector quantization.
I am originally from Madras, India. I got my undergraduate degree (B.Statistics (Honors))
from the Indian Statistical
Institute, Calcutta in 1999. And completed my masters degree in statistics
at the same place in 2001.
