Sam-Joo Doh
I am a Speech Scientist at SpeechWorks International, Boston, MA.
Right now, I am working on a Korean Speech Recognition System.
My home is in Quincy near Boston.
I was in Pittsburgh, PA (1995-2000) as a Ph.D student
in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
at Carnegie Mellon University.
I have worked with CMU Sphinx Speech Group
in which many people are from the School of Computer Science.
Before I came to USA, I also worked on speech recognition system as a Member of Technical Staff in
Korea Telecom Research & Development Group, Korea.
I received BS degree in
Electronics Engineering from
Seoul National University in 1988,
and MS degree in
Electrical Engineering from
Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST)
in 1990.
I was born in Seoul, Korea. My family are my wife, Myung-Sook, 7 yeard-old son (2nd grade), Hansol,
and 4 year-old daughter, Unsol.
