SIGPARSE is a special interest group of the ACL (Association for Computational Linguistics). The group consists of about 200 researchers whose research interests are in various aspects of parsing natural language.

SIGPARSE sponsors the biennial International Conference on Parsing Technologies (IWPT).

IWPT 2013 in Nara, Japan

Our next meeting, IWPT 2013, will be held in Nara, November 27-29, 2013.

SPMRL Workshop 2013

The Fourth Workshop on Statistical Parsing of Morphologically Rich Languages (SPMRL 2013) will be held on October 18-21, 2013, in Seattle (co-located with EMNLP).

New SIGPARSE officers (March 14, 2013)

New officers Eric Villemont de la Clergerie (Secretary) and Yuji Matsumoto (Information Officer) join John Carroll (who moves from secretary to president) and Kenji Sagae (Information Officer).
