When I'm not working, I'm usually reading (obligatory list), writing (livejournal), singing, taking photographs,
buying kitchen equipment (next on my list: breadmachine), and (very occasionally) learning Arabic.
The things I miss most from my Stanford days? Playing The Game, discovering unvisited aisles of Green Library (3 million books!), hanging out at the Rodin Sculpture Garden and the Gates of Hell, hiking up to the Dish and the foothills, wandering in the City, laughing at the antics of the Stanford Band, and walking around a gorgeous campus alone after dark.

News: Google News does a great job overall, but I think the BBC is simply wonderful, especially for highlighting interesting stories, and for excellent correspondent articles. The Arab Times (English) is the best Kuwaiti newspaper, period. Kuwait Samachar is a major news source for Indians in Kuwait, I am told. That covers pretty much all the main-stream media bases I care about...
