I defended my thesis in September 2008, and I am now at AT&T Labs - Research in Bedminster, NJ with an official webpage.

About me

I was a PhD student in the Computer Science Department of Carnegie Mellon University . My advisors were Avrim Blum and Dawn Song. I was previously an undergraduate at Stanford University, and I graduated with a major in Computer Science and a secondary major in Mathematics. Before my Stanford years, I lived in Kuwait, but went to a CBSEschool.

My main research interests span computer security, networking and systems problems, using techniques from machine learning, data mining and algorithm design. My current research focuses on using ideas from learning theory and streaming algorithm design for problems in network security. I am also interested in planning under uncertainty and mechanism design.
