I am a Research Scientist at Robert Bosch Research. My research focuses on global illumination, light transport, and interactive algorithms for graphics & vision. I am also interested in numerical computing accelerated by modern graphics processors.

Before I joined Bosch, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University (with Professor Srinivasa Narasimhan). I got my Ph.D. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (with Professor Barbara Cutler), master's degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Zhejiang University, and bachelor's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University in China. I was a member of XJTU RoboCon Team and ZJUNlict RoboCup Team.

I often receive emails asking for a technical report I wrote several years ago about the process scheduling algorithm in Linux Kernel 2.6.4. I tried my best to reply these emails in time. However, I might be busy sometimes and do not have time to check my email, so I put a copy of the document here (Sorry, it's in Chinese. If you are a big fan of Linux kernel, I recommend the book "Linux Kernel Development" from Robert Love).
