I have posted **all** the slides in the block I started today
("noise") to give you a head start on the homework problems that have
been / will be assigned therein. I expect to finish this block -- and
maybe get started on the next one -- on Friday. I'm confident that
you'll be able to figure out how to do these problems by applying the
results of the three "noise" subsections even before you understand
all the details of how those results arise.
