The School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University seeks faculty candidates with a strong interest in research, outstanding academic credentials, and an earned Ph.D. Candidates for tenure-track appointments should also have a strong interest in graduate and undergraduate education. The School spans a wide range of topics in computer science and the application of computers to real-world systems. The School is organized into seven departments and institutes: Computer Science Department; Human-Computer Interaction Institute; Institute for Software Research; Lane Center for Computational Biology; Language Technologies Institute; Machine Learning Department and the Robotics Institute.
