He will transform you from novice to miracle worker in 60 minutes!
In this hands-on magic seminar you will learn the world's most ancient methods of
teletransportation, balls disappear here and reappear there, sometimes
into the hands of the spectator. You will leave this workshop with some
real magic equipment and the skill to use it.

Origami Workshop
|
Learn how to make simple and fun creations with Cecily Heiner.
Materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
Come to this fun workshop and amaze your friends with your artistic
skills!

Karate Workshop
|
Participants will be taught some simple karate moves as
well as the ideas behind the actions they are making. There will be a
limit of around 10 to 15 people for the workshop. Participants must be
sure to wear comfortable clothing that they can move in.

Yoga Workshop
|
YOGA?! If that sounds like an intriguing
new word to add to your vocab list, then stop by to find out what it is.
Get an entertaining and highly relaxing hour-long beginner's insight into
yogic philosophy. The session also includes some very basic exercises, so
please be dressed accordingly.

Swing Dancing Workshop
|
Come learn how to swing dance. This fun and easy dance is simple to
learn and a great way to meet people. Dance experience is not needed,
just enthusiasm and the desire to learn! Partners will be rotated
throughout the lesson, so feel free to come without one. As an added
bonus, all workshop participants will be eligible for a $3 discount for
a dance (with live band) that night at
Swing City.

A Chess Competition
|
Join us on SCS day for a relaxed game of chess.
Fun chess sets, prizes, and flexible time slots to play are just a few of the reasons
to participate in this fun workshop.

Registration for the chess competition will only
be open Wednesday and Thursday at the SCS Day booth, so make sure you get to the booth on one
of those days!

DDR and other games
|
Get up and move! Learn to play music simulation games like DDR (Dance
Dance Revolution) and Taiko no Tatsujin (a game based on traditional
Japanese drumming). You'll get a bit of exercise, look a little silly,
and have a lot of fun. This workshop is intended for complete novices,
but more experienced players are welcome to come and help others.
