For anyone who are interested in parallel computation applications: from Naoki Hirose, National Aerospace Laboratory, Japan. PARALLEL CFD'94 CONFERENCE PARALLEL CFD'94 International Conference will be held in Kyoto Research Park(KRP), Kyoto, Japan from May 16 to 19, 1994. The Conference will be hosted by Kyoto Institute of Technology(KIT) and National Aerospace Laboratory, Chofu, Japan. The first PARALLEL CFD was held in Manhattan Beach(USA) in 1989 and then it has been held annually:Indianapolis(USA) 1990, Stuttgart(Germany) 1991, New Brunswick(USA) 1992 and Paris(France) 1993. This is the first time to be held in Far East. PARALLEL CFD is a meeting of CFD scientists and software scientists for the development and research on parallel supercomputers for CFD(computational fluid dynamics) applications. Organizing Committee Chairperson is Prof.Nobuyuki Satofuka of KIT. Co-host:NAL introduced "Numerical Wind Tunnel" a special parallel vector-processor consisting of 140 Processing Elements with peak performance of 236GFLOPS and 35GB in early last year. This meeting will be the first international presentation of CFD computation results produced on NWT. Invited paper by K.Yamamoto's turbulence simulation of 512^^3 cube may be the largest turbulence simulation ever made. Total of 9 papers from NAL is on the program. Anyone who are interested in the application side of parallel computing are encouraged to attend the meeting. The details will be obtained at: Prof.Nobuyuki Satofuka, KIT e-mail: satofuka@ipc.kit.ac.jp phone: +81-75-724-7312 fax :+81-75-724-7390 The following invited papers are on the program.
