9th Annual High Performance Computing & Communications Conference

The National High Perpormance Computing and Communications Council 
will hold the 9th Annual High Performance Computing and Communications 
Conference on 3-5 April 1995. This year's meeting is being held at 
the Radisson Hotel at Mark Center in Alexandria VA. The theme of this 
year's conference is "Applications of High Performance Computing and 
Communications - The Grand Challenges."  Featured Grand Challenge 
presentations will cover weather modeling, design for environmental
protection, telemedicine, space and automotive design.  The conference 
also highlights and focuses on the DoD HPC Modernization Program,
Administration Information Technology Policy, Plans and Programs, 
Networks and Communication Technology, Computer and Network Security, 
ARPA HPC programs, Internet, and Metacomputing for Client Servers. 
In depth technical presentations will be conducted by senior executives 
of major manufacturers, including: CONVEX, nCUBE, IBM, AT&T, and SGI.

The HPCC Conference registration fee is $495. A $50 discount is 
available for registrations paid prior to March 1st. An additional 
discount is available for prepaid registrations of 5 or more from the 
same agency, command or organization. Non-discountable student 
registrations are available at $300.  Single day registrations costs 
$200. All registrations include continental breakfast, refreshments 
breaks, lunch and all materials.
