SUBJECT: Partitioning and Scheduling for Parallel and Distributed Systems.

Partitioning and scheduling techniques are essential to 
high performance computing on massively parallel machines and 
workstation clusters.  This special issue covers the areas 
of theory, applications and software systems that involve the 
issues of partitioning and scheduling for computation, communication 
and I/O. Topics of interests include: 
	 
* Program and data partitioning.
* Static and dynamic scheduling.  I/O scheduling. 
* Tools and programming systems for partitioning and scheduling on
		homogeneous or heterogeneous platforms.
* Partitioning and scheduling in information systems and scientific computing.


SUBMISSION DEADLINE: February 7, 1995.

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION: May 31, 1995.

LENGTH OF MANUSCRIPTS: 12 pages in PPL format.
		

Papers published elsewhere will not be considered.  All papers will be
reviewed and papers of high scientific quality containing original
results will be published.
