It will serve as a forum to present current work by researchers from around the world as well as highlight activities in India in the high performance computing area. In addition to technical sessions of contributed paper presentations, the workshop will offer invited presentations, surveys of current work, tutorials, vendor presentations and commercial exhibits. Original unpublished work as well as summaries of current work will be considered. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: - Parallel Algorithms - Parallelizing Compilers - Parallel Architectures - Performance Modeling/Evaluation - Interconnection Networks - Network Based Computing - Parallel Languages - Signal & Image Processing Systems - Programming Environments - Parallel Implementations of Applications To submit a paper, send a one page abstract of your work to the appropriate Program Chair. Submissions from India should be sent to L. M. Patnaik. All other submissions should be sent to S. K. Tripathi. Mail/Fax submissions will be considered; however, electronic form of submission (in ASCII) is preferred. In addition to the abstract, please include a cover page listing your postal address, e-mail address, and telephone and fax numbers and the name and address of the person who will present the work, if accepted. To be considered, the abstract and the cover page must be received by July 1, 1994. Notification of accept/reject decisions will be mailed by July 31, 1994. Camera-ready papers are due August 31, 1994. Proceedings will be available at the Workshop.
