The 1996 International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Systems is to provide an international forum for scientists, engineers, and computer users to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results on all aspects of parallel and distributed systems. The day before the conference (June 3) will be devoted to tutorials to provide the background for the conference.
