The second European PVM Users Group Meeting will provide an opportunity for European users of PVM to meet each other in 1995, share ideas and experiences, and meet some of the members of the PVM Team. The conference will include: o Invited talks o Contributed papers from the PVM users community. o Technical presentations by the developers of PVM. o Vendor presentations on supported PVM products. o Social activities. o Tutorial Session (September 19) o Panel session on future directions and trends of PVM and MPI Call For Papers We invite everyone with PVM ideas or experiences to submit papers for a possible presentation at the Users' Group meeting. List of topics includes (but is not limited to): o The PVM system: - Tools - Libraries - Extensions and Improvements - Vendors Implementations - Programming Environments - .... o Algorithms using PVM: - Numerical Kernels - Scheduling and Load Balancing - Benchmarking and Pseudo-Applications - Irregular Structures and Algorithms - .... o Real-world Parallel Applications with PVM: - CFD - Image Processing - Structural Analysis - Chemistry - Aerodynamics - .... Authors are requested to submit a 4 to 6 pages paper before June 2, 1995. Papers will be reviewed and authors notified of their acceptance by July 28. Any special equipment required for the talk should also be indicated on a separated letter. Papers should be submitted in uuencoded compressed postscript form (named lastname.firstname.ps.Z or lastname.firstname.ps.gz) of the interface author with an e-mail to europvm@lip.ens-lyon.fr.
