the pat few years, I have been affiliated

as student member as well as professional
member in the field of Technical Communication
and Human-Computer Interaction. I have tried
to actively involve with these societies and
chapters and I have gained a tremendous respect
for these particular fields that I am in as
well as knowledge and information that are
core in 'user-centric' computer enviornment.

ACM SIGCHI serves as an international venue
for specialists in human-computer interaction,
education, usability, interaction design,
computer supported cooperative work, and
other related areas. The group helps to
organize and coordinate information through
online services, traditional publications,
local SIGS, conferences, workshops, and
symposia relating to HCI.
