Students

During the last 4 years, I have been fortunate to collaborate with a number of students from Carnegie Mellon University and the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU).
2004-, Sergey Shchukin, senior, CSD, CMU.

I work with Sergey on developing a planning language for mission planning and a framework for learning domain models from execution failures.

2004-, Amos Koh Boon Hui, Yiming Li, both seniors, CSD, CMU.

Amos and Yiming are hired as research programmers and are currently implementing a prototype system integrating planning and execution.

2003-4, Sathiamoorthy Subbarayan, Masters Student and Research Programmer ITU, Tarik Hadzic, Ph.D. student, ITU

I have worked closely together with Sathi and Tarik on new approaches to interactive product configuration. In addition, we have worked on an elaborate comparison study between a search-based (ILOG) and a BDD-based (Configit) approach to complete and backtrack-free interactive configuration.

2001 Robert Punkunus, senior, CSD, CMU

I have worked with Rob on an approach for compact Boolean encoding of PDDL domains based on previous work by Stefan Edelkamp and Malthe Helmert for the MIPS planner and the TIM system by Maria Fox and Derek Long.
