In the spring of 1998 I visited
Carnegie Mellon University to carry out an individual course evaluated by
Morten Lind
at Dep. of Automation. I visited Computer Science Department and was supervised by
Manuela M. Veloso. Manuela is a researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Her research interests
includes
Robotic Soccer,
Planning, Learning and Execution and
The Prodigy Project.
In my project I studied how to use Prodigy4.0 for planning in multi-agent domains.
We further wanted to integrate the prodigy planner in a
dynamic uncertain environment. The RoboCup
Soccer Simulator
was chosen as a sample domain and during May and June I implemented a distributed system integrating a Prodigy server and
the soccer simulator. A paper on this work submitted to the AAAI Fall Symposium 1998: Integrated Planning For Autonomous Agent
Architectures can be found
here.
