PGSS 2003 Go Fish tournament results


The six programs that passed the qualifying round (see below) competed with each other for the Grand Prize (a bag of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers!)
The exhaustive (and exhausting) final round involved playing each pair of finalists about 50 times, giving them one point for each win and one-half point for each tie. The complete final round table is shown at the bottom of this page.

The 2003 FishNet tournament winner is:

Second place: Three teams finished in a dead heat, just a hair behind LQGT, so I am also honoring them here:

To qualify teams, I played each of the 35 entries against Spot 50 times. Those that won significantly more often than they lost qualified for the final round.
In contrast to previous years, I did not make major repairs to entries. I did fix a few minor obvious bugs.
