Description |
Bouncing
Buzz is a toy astronaut that imitates a person walking in space. He is approximately 6 inches and weighs ½
a pound. |
|
Mechanics |
When the
child pushes down on Buzz’s head, it will compress the spring inside
him. When the spring decompresses,
Buzz will slowly pop into the air, gears will make his legs move forward and
back, and in his backpack will be a parachute type mechanism that will enable
him to land slowly and upright. |
|
Cost and Durability |
Bouncing
Buzz will be made out of hard plastic and the inside gears and spring systems
are slightly more intricate than that of the tinker toys. The parachute backpack will be the most
intricate mechanism on the toy but will not affect the total cost
dramatically. With these factors into
consideration, Bouncing Buzz will cost around 10 dollars. |
