Thoughts for stuff done in Week 12

Another victim...err...student tester (4/11/2000)

Another tester, another set of results. This tester was closer to our target age group. He seemed to enjoy the idea; he wanted to take one home. It seems that there are problems though..it took a lot of tries before the barometer actually worked. We decide we want to try out using a turkey baster and see if that fixes the problem.

CNC Tutorial (4/11/2000)

I ran off about halfway through the student testing session in order to get a crash course on CNC machining. I definitely crashed...

The guy who tried to teach Pro/E and the general process for manufacturing to us seemed quite competent. Its just that he went way way too fast and he seemed to assume that we had used Pro/E 2000 sometime previously and knew the interface. It took about ten minutes, but in the end we all just stood there, wondering how we were going to machine this part....

Playing with food (4/13/2000)

Yay, playing with food. Now this is neat. I ended up with the Chocolate Dump Cake. Good stuff when it finally was ready. However, I think we forgot to grease the pan, because half the cake got stuck to the pan. It could have used some sugar too; it was kinda bland. But that's ok, it was still good.

The exploding zip-lock bags were more fun.... ^_^
