Went up front to show why everyone CNC Machining was the best for our part. It wasn't really that much of an argument though. It was either CNC Machining or SDM for us, with CNC Machining being the preferred technique. Most of the other techniques were eliminated from the thought process since they used brittle plastic, layers that could come apart under torsion, or cost.
I really hate cardboard. This is one of the more successful cardboard projects so far. Basically, this was an exercise on following directions it seems. Nothing too challenging, just make cuts, then glue the whole thing together. It didn't work out perfectly, with a few cuts that weren't perfect, but for the most part it turned out fine.
