Concept 1: A rattle for a newborn child. The two end pieces each contain a large amount of small balls. As the rattle is rotated and gravity takes over the balls fall from on end to the other. As the balls flow through the handle of the rattle, they bounce off slopes and turn gears to entertain the newborn. The handle will be a clear plastic so the baby can see all of the action. Each end piece will also be clear so you can see the storage of tiny balls. It will have to be made durable so it won’t break and allow the balls to be swallowed by the child.
