Simple Hopper Hand Hopper Poolside Frog Jumper
Home

What is it? The simple hopper works on the physical concept of springs. The child compresses the top part until the suction cups hold it in place. When the pressure of the spring overcomes the suction, the toy springs up and slightly forward.

How do you make it? The concept is simple and so is the construction. The most time would be placed into R&D of developing the correct spring strength and the correct suction cup strength. Most pieces can be molded and the rest has to be manually assembled although each assembly probably takes 30 seconds at most.

Safety and Durability: This toy is for elementary school children. Younger than six is a problem for choking. Older than six just wouldn't get much out of it. It seems to be durable. The spring may change over time and if the suction cups are damaged, the toy could be ruined.
