“Puzzle Shapes”

“Puzzle Shapes” is an enjoyable

toy that allows a child to play with shapes and colors to create different designs. Children develop their problem solving skills while also tapping their imagination.

Children pick a card out of the deck, and this card shows a picture of a possible design (i.e. a picture of a castle), or an idea for a design (i.e. “make a castle”). The child then places the different velco shapes onto the large rectangular velcro panel to create the designs.

The cost of construction is extremely low as the only materials are the velcro pieces and panel, and the laminated cards. Plus, construction itself should be a simple process that further brings down the cost.

The durability of this toy is fairly high as velcro is hard to rip, but it is easy to lose and the cards may be bent easily.

Not all of the pieces are made large enough to prevent a choke hazard, so only childer ages 3 and up can play with this toy. There are no other safety hazards.
