Toy Concept #1

Toy Concept

This toy concept is based on the Perfection Game by Milton Bradley.  For those that have not played Perfection before, the main purpose of the game is to place pieces into their right place on a board in an allocated time.  If the player does not put all the pieces in time, all the pieces that are placed into their right spots are ejected out.

Toy Principle

This toy is a more modern and educational version of the Perfection Game.  Instead of using different shapes, alphabets are used.  There is a built in computer that will say a few letters or word, and the player will have to place the right letter piece into the right spot in the allocated time.  If the player gets the letters or word right, the computer will add points and play a pre-recorded sound through the speakers.  If the player does not get the piece in time, points will be deducted and pieces already placed will be ejected.  The plastic pieces are locked in with a spring and when the time runs out, the spring is release and ejects the pieces.  There is a storage slot for all the pieces.  An additional expansion slot allows programmable words.

Cost, Durability and Safety

The construction cost of this toy will be the cost of producing the plastic parts, the built-in computer and speakers.  The main board and pieces are made of hard plastic and are big enough so children cannot swallow the pieces.  Batteries are required.

Age Group

This toy is designed for ages 5-9.  This game can help a child learn their alphabets or help with spelling tests or be played like the original Perfection game.    A child can play this game by him/herself but also with other children.
