Egg Drop

The assignment:
Design an egg holder than will protect a precious little egg from breaking after being dropped from a second story window. Minimize the cost of the holder as well as maximize the aesthetics of the holder while keeping the structural integrity. Points were also awarded for proximity to the target on the ground.

Our egg stayed completely intact and we were only about one foot off of the bulls eye of the target.

Things cost money. You may want to build out of one primary material, but that can impact your whole design because of the price.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Maximizing aesthetics, maintaining structural integrity and minimizing costs at the same time is difficult.

In the end, we were triumphant!
