I am a researcher at Symantec Research Labs. My research interests are in computer security and software engineering. My current focus is on using machine learning techniques to improve system security and performance.

I completed my PhD in the CS Department at CMU in December 2008. Jeannette M. Wing was my advisor. I received my undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India. I worked for a couple of years at D. E. Shaw & Co. and at divine Inc. before joining CMU.
