I used to think golf was a sisy sport.  However, in December of 1998, I played golf on a course bordering the Everglades National Park near Naples, Florida.  This course had alligators *on* the course!  On this course, the water hazards are *hazards*!

Here I am twenty feet from a 10-foot-long alligator -- surreal!
