Johnny Lee, whose creative uses of the Nintendo Wii remote have made his instructional videos a YouTube sensation, has been recognized by Technology Review magazine as one of the world’s top 35 innovators under the age of 35. Lee, 28, received his Ph.D. from the Human-Computer Interaction Institute of Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science this spring and is now working as a researcher in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group. Randy Pausch, renowned computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon University, died Friday, July 25, of complications from pancreatic cancer. He was 47.
