The matlab scripts contained in this archive were used by Mark Maimone to perform his Ph.D. thesis research. The thesis is available as Carnegie Mellon Computer Science Tech Report CMU-CS-96-125. See the web page http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~mwm/thesis/ for more info. This code comes from various stages of familiarity with matlab. Some scripts are utterly redundant, some make the standard tools easier to use, some work only with 1D signals, others work with scalars, vectors, and matrices. Give it a shot, but your mileage may vary. I'm afraid I did not have time to clean things up very well. The hypertext documentation probably won't work directly on your system due to some hardwired paths. I suggest you regenerate it using the mat2html tool available on the web at http://www.nd.edu/Courses/kantor/matlab/mat2html . This software may be freely used, we ask only that you provide some acknowledgement of its source: pick your favorite of the following three. Thanks! 1. Mark Maimone 2.
