About Me
I am a recent graduate from Music and Technology Master program at Carnegie Mellon University, where I was advised by Professor Roger B. Dannenberg. My main study area is interactive music system design. I am interested in how to use natural gestures control music in real-time performance. In my master thesis, I design and evaluate a gesture recognition strategy especially for music performance, based on the dynamic time warping algorithm and using an F-measure evaluation process to automatically obtain the best feature and threshold combination. A video demonstration is available. |
