- Projects will be "handed in" by copying files to AFS.
- File formats:
- Generally, one sound file. Use projectnn.wav. Other acceptable formats (and names) are .aiff, .aif, and .mp3.
- If code is included, the main program should be named projectnn.sal. Other .sal and .lsp files may be present..
- Generally, one document file. Acceptable formats are PDF (.pdf) and ASCII text (.txt). Please do not use MS Word (.doc) files - convert them to PDF.
- Do not combine files into .zip or .tar (or other) archive formats.
- Each student has an AFS directory:
/afs/cs.cmu.edu/academic/class/15322-s09/usr/ANDREW-ID/proj-nn
where ANDREW-ID is your andrew login id, and nn is the project number.
- Access rights in your area are of the form ANDREW-ID@andrew.cmu.edu. To use these access rights, you will probably have to get tickets with:
aklog cs.cmu.edu
- Late projects are accepted at the discretion of the course staff and should be placed at the top level of your AFS area, e.g.
/afs/cs.cmu.edu/academic/class/15322-s09/usr/ANDREW-ID
- Late submissions must be accompanied by an email to rbd at cs.cmu.edu with the subject "late submission". We will be much more understanding if you send email well in advance of the deadline, and we try to be reasonable about job interviews, illness, and other legitimate distractions.
