Copies of undergraduate transcripts can be uploaded to the online application website. Original transcripts be sent to the program administrator. Do not send high school transcripts.

The online application website will request three letters of recommendation; at least one from academia and, if possible, one from industry. People who recommend you should know you relatively well and be able to discuss the
quality of your work.

Your objective in pursuing the MSIT-SE Master of Software Engineering degree and your
reasons for choosing to apply to Carnegie Mellon.

Your background in software development and other fields relative to the above objective.
Option: outline the parts of the software life cycle with which you have experience or
exposure.

You will be asked to upload a document of Professional Experience in Software Engineering; this may be description of projects completed as an undergraduate.
