CERT Vulnerability Notes Database US-CERT publishes information about a wide variety of vulnerabilities, described in US-CERT Technical Alerts. CERT is the home of the well-known CERT(R) Coordination Center, located at Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute. They study Internet security vulnerabilities, research long-term changes in networked systems, and develop information and training to help you improve security.

This is a scientific literature digital library and search engine that focuses primarily on computer and information science. You can view the most cited authors and documents in computer science, as well as impact ratings. CiteSeer attempts to provide algorithms, metadata, services, techniques, and software that can be used in other digital libraries.
Computer Forensics Tool Testing (CFTT) Project (NIST) The CFTT provides a measure of assurance that the tools used in the investigations of computer-related crimes produce valid results. It also supports other projects in the National Institute of Justice�s overall computer forensics research program, such as the National Software Reference Library (NSRL). Provides several links to testing reports and projects underway in the field.
Computing Research Repository (CoRR) CoRR has been created to allow researchers to search, browse and download papers through its online repository. Researchers can also subscribe to particular subject classes and receive daily updates on your topics of choice. CoRR is a partnership of ACM, ArXiv e-print archive, and NCSTRL (Networked Computer Science Technical Reference Library).

FedBizOpps (Carnegie Mellon only) Lists notices of proposed government procurement actions, contract awards, sales of government property, and other procurement information. A new edition is issued every business day, containing approximately 500-1,000 notices.
IEEE Xplore (Carnegie Mellon only) 1988- (updated daily)
Full-text access to IEEE transactions, journals, and conference proceedings and IET journals, as well as all current IEEE standards. They are in the process of adding older materials on a gradual basis.

The basic component of the library is a 50-100 page Lecture; a self-contained e-book that synthesizes an important research or development topic, authored by an expert contributor to the field. They offer unique value to the reader by providing more analysis and depth than the typical research journal article.The library and its lectures are organized by series.
