Re: AVOS will not allow ballot to feed



Jason: Apparently a ballot had jammed and the unit would not accept any ballots after that. Shutting the unit off for about 15 sec and back on seems to have corrected the problem.

Please try to be as specific as possible in describing your situation.  To answer your question about what is causing this problem requires some information as to what you were previously doing before you could not have ballots being fed.

Here in Johnson County, Kansas we are having a problem with one of the AVOS units not allowing ballots to feed.  We've removed the automatic feeder and are down to the basic AVOS unit and the ballot still will not feed.  What is causing this and what do we need to do about it.  Thanks.  Lesley
