Re: Windows 2000 Asian font installation

Steve, the fonts are listed as entries in the expanded 'International Support' - they are not files.  You simply left-click on the language font desired, and a pop-up menu appears.

Asian language fonts may be installed in the Windows 2000 environment as follows:
  1. Install Office 2000 CD.
  2. Double-click on Setup.exe.
  3. Click on Add or Remove Features.
  4. Expand Office Tools.
  5. Expand International Support.
  6. Click on the icon to the left of the desired Asian font (Japanese, Korean or Chinese Traditional) to install, then select 'Run from my computer' in the pop-up menu.
  7. Perform this task for every one of the three language fonts to install.
  8. Once all fonts have been selected, click on the Update Now button in order for the fonts to be installed.
