RE: AVTS-3-10-4 & El Paso, TX

If it is writing first to the floppy and then to the hard drive, what is
the safety net if the disk becomes corrupted when a voter casts his/her
vote?? That vote would not be recorded, and the voter would not wait
around until someone shows up to check the system to let him/her to vote
again. If it is writing first to the hard drive, and then to the floppy,
then you can always copy the hard drive files back to a new floppy. I
think there was a checking routine also, to check to see if the results &
counters matched on both hard drive and removable media each time the
system was Opened, Closed, or Shutdown. Is that process still being done??
