Welcome!
I am pursuing my PhD in Language Technologies @ the Language Technologies Institute, School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University.
My advisor is Dr. Carolyn Rosé. I am currently working at the intersection of Language Technologies (primarily automatic text processing methods) and the broad domain of Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL). CSCL research focuses on the issue of how to effectively design and utilize computer technology for facilitating learning in groups.
Prior to this, I got my Masters in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. While there, I worked with Dr. Ted Pedersen and Dr. Rich Maclin on supervised and semi-supervised methods for Word Sense Disambiguation.
