Fall 2004

First three Weeks(8.30~9.11)

Finally have the time (or interest/motivation) to renew my reflection...

The first three weeks has been happily busy. I am happy because I am back to campus where again, I can live by new things and be challenged by new idea everyday. Comparing with the corporate life, I have a strong preference over the academic life. I believe it's my inner inclination toward the innovation or experimentation sprit typical of an academic environment.

Recently, I have quite some debate by myself about the career path to pursue after graduation. Consulting, which is denied by me for many years, emerges once more into my mind. From a brief discussion with my classmate who interned at a consulting company in summer, I got pretty positive impression that there is quite some interesting things going on there. I will go to the Case Challenge anyway, just a test out to see how it might be interesting.

The first three weeks also about course add/drop. I finally decided my schedule after some hard time to give up those interesting courses (such as Interface). Still, I carry a lot of units and do a lot of things. Pleasantly, I am taking a non-major-dancing (finally:)) class this semester. I am also happy that I am going to do an independent study about work flow--something what I'd like to do however always not have the opportunity to do. The ITN project, should be an interesting however demanding one. Cross the finger, I can finish this semester in good shapes...

Notes:

The page never have the chances to be continued as I have too many things on top of the list, sorry about that... One thing I could get relief is that I finished the semester with sound GPA and job offer... In any case, I should celebrate for a while.....
