RFID
The wide adoption of RFID will create a new flood of data, how we could
make use of those newly generated data and do useful things? That's the
question. This is an article briefing this technology in

Tsunami, Katrina..... The natrual disaster is as intimidating as
terrorism attack. It's discouraging to know that the best
computer simulation model only have less than 40 percent
accuracy. But a team of UK researches claimed that their
predicative model could achieve 65 to 70 percent accuracy simply
through correlating the hurricane occurance with the July wind after
sifting through hurricane seasons since 1950. Not sure whether
it's data mining or not, but it seems like an empirical model and it
seems like a promising alternative to the simulation method.
