I am a graduate student in the Robotics
Institute
at
Carnegie Mellon University. My interests are in the areas of graphics,
facial animation, perception and cognitive science, biological motion,
and virtual reality. I am part of the Graphics Lab
and my academic adviser is professor Jessica
Hodgins.
I grew up in Romania, went to high school
in Constanta by the Black Sea, and
graduated with a B.A. in computer science from Mount Holyoke
College, MA in
summer of 2008.
In 2007-2008 I spent several months at the Max
Planck
for Biological Cybernetics in Tuebingen, Germany as a
visiting
student/intern.
