Is it Easy to Get into Leap?
To be enrolled in this course, Carnegie Mellon does not take into account your performance in school. Instead a special test, known as The Interesting Test, is administered to determine how ready you are for the course.
The questions on this test are not formula based equations that you must solve, but rather creative mathematical problems that involve using common sense and thinking outside the box.
The questions are designed to be unfamiliar to all students to ensure higher grade levels do not have an advantage over middle school students.
Take a peek at some questions (and answers!) from past exams.
